THE MYSTERY UNDERLYING RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.
The Christians today have not understood properly the mystery of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and even those who understand it better still know in part and have not deeply understood but its grievous that many Christians are still dead even though Jesus Christ resurrected to give them life. When we receive Jesus Christ in our lives, we receive the first resurrection of our life from death of sin to the life of the Spirit to live in Christ and to fellowship with God through Christ, so this means a person who has died to the life because of sin has resurrected from the death of his Spirit and it was purposed in the death of Christ and his resurrection from the dead.
By Jesus death on the cross was crucifying the desire of the flesh that is corruptable and vulnerable to sin which creates death of the Spirit, so then he died that he will raise the dead from spiritual death to receive incorruptible body and that is the Spiritual Body and that through it he would make a residence in that body, his resurrection from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit was tremendous to the life of the Christian believer. But even when Jesus Christ has brought the life of resurrection from the Spiritual death still many Christians are still living the life of the old man” Adam of sin” and this means that they have not realized the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver them from the power of the Spiritual death, many christians do not know what is happening to the church of God he is preparing in the heavenly places the Spiritual Kingdom of God, this is because they are still Spiritually dead.
The purpose of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead was to deliver people from the Spiritual death because of sin so that in the age to come they will receive the eternal life. So eternal life is the hope we received in Christ Jesus by Faith in Christ focusing on unseen things because they are eternal not the physical which are passing away, so those who trust in the physical dimensions and its things have are in danger to die again because of sin and of the flesh but things which are seen are passing away plus all its desires.
And you being dead in your trespasses and the un circumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with him having forgiven your trespasses. Colossians2:13.
From the scripture above God has made alive again after resurrection of Jesus Christ but we had died because of our sins, and many Christians are still dead even though they have been born again but all that is receiving the wrong Spirit from false churches where they confess Jesus Christ. This is because the person without the Holy Spirit cannot give you the Holy Spirit. Spirit gives birth to Spirit and flesh gives birth to flesh also. John3:5-8.
Any person born of the Spirit life, he will give life of the Spirit but anyone who is not born of the Spirit by Jesus Christ he cannot give the Spirit life and thats where Christians have got it wrong.
The church where you worship from matters alot to your Spiritual life, growth and to the path of eternal life. But if the church is dead in the Spirit then you cannot get the Holy Spirit and then you cannot resurrect from the initial Spiritual death.
They are many benefits that came with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ that each Christian must be aware of for the sake of his or her walk with Jesus Christ for eternal life. Many Christians have made the resurrection of Jesus Christ in vain by keeping in sin and heading to destruction which will only lead them to second death.
In as much, there’s another resurrection of the dead after the physical at the end of age of a person and such people who die must have been living in Christ Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will raise them from the dead and they will be given another Spiritual body that is incorruptible and immortality. But such christians should have been living a life giving Spirit during their time in physical living and such people should have died to sin in their lives and such will receive eternal life because that is what they had focused on.
So Christians should know why Jesus Christ was raised from the dead so that they may perfectly live in a godliness life and in reverance to God and Jesus our Lord and the only Savior, many people celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a wrong way and many do not know the Resurrection of Jesus Christ effect to human life and Spiritual. Imagine many Christians celebrate in eating food and many in bars, prostitution, in immorality and this kind of celebrations are not revealing the purpose of Jesus Resurection it only shows Jesus is supporting sin and that is totally wrong so the devil is deceptive to Christians they celebrate resurrection of Jesus by instead Sinning and adding to iniquity which only makes the devil happy when Christians celebrate what they do not know. This honestly grieves the Holy Spirit because Christians have wrongly received Jesus and they are misguided by mis understanding his resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
Easter is a time when many Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. However, when we think about the resurrection, we tend to look backwards and focus on the empty tomb. We celebrate the fact that Jesus was raised from the dead and rejoice in the new life that he has provided for us. The problem with looking back in this way is that we fail to understand the full impact of what the resurrection achieved for the present and the future. The resurrection was the pivotal event in history. When Jesus was raised from the dead, everything changed.
Beautiful World Messed Up
To understand the reality of the resurrection, we must understand what happened before. In the beginning, God created a beautiful world. He looked at his work and saw that it was good. God created man in his image and commissioned us to care for his world. To equip us for this task, he gave mankind full authority over the earth.
Once authority is given, it cannot be taken back, so giving humans authority over the earth was an amazing risk. God was willing to take this risk, because he had made us in his likeness. When a son is like his father, he behaves in the same way as his father. In the same way, God saw the people he had created on earth as his family. Because we were created in his likeness, he trusted us to care for his earth. His intention was to teach us to care for the earth, as a father teaches his sons or a master tradesperson trains his apprentices.
This wonderful association fell apart, when Adam and Eve were tricked into disobeying God. This did not just break their relationship with their father by obeying Satan, they surrendered to him their authority over the earth. God had given dominion over the earth to man, but man foolishly gave that dominion to the devil. This fall into sin gave evil full reign on earth. God’s beautiful world was corrupted by violence and disaster.
God the father does not go back on his word, so he would not take back the authority he has given to man. Only a human could take back the authority that was given to the devil, but because all humans are corrupted by sin, no human had the power to take back authority over the earth and boot evil out of the world.
Gods Solution to life
Jesus was God’s solution to the mess that humans created on earth. He was born as a man, so he was entitled to exercise authority on earth. Because he did not sin, he was not under the influence of evil. That is why the devil worked so hard to tempt him into sin. If Jesus had succumbed to sin, he would have come under the authority of the devil and would been unable to fulfil his commission.
When the devil managed to get Jesus crucified, he thought he had won a great victory. He believed that he had destroyed the only person who could destroy his power. With Jesus death, the last threat to the devil’s power was gone. God only had one son, and if he was destroyed, God’s last option for victory was gone.
We think of Jesus dying on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. That is true. We were redeemed by his blood during his crucifixion. However, the cross only dealt with part of the mess on earth. It dealt with sin, but if Jesus stayed dead, the devil was free to continue exercising authority on earth. No good man was left to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. There was not perfect man to enter heaven with authority to release the Holy Spirit to go all out on earth. The cross on its own was a partial victory. It dealt with sin, but could restore the earth from the harm that sin had done.
Resurrection Victory of Jesus Christ.
The resurrection was a huge victory for Jesus and for those would believe in him in Spirit and truth.
The resurrection took nothing away from the crucifixion. The pains and suffering of Jesus was not reversed. The penalty for sin was still paid. Redemption was available for all who would trust in Jesus.
The resurrection was a huge defeat for the devil, who thought that he had killed the only real threat to his power. By rising from the dead, Jesus exposed the Devil’s weakness. He could not get Jesus to sin and he could not kill him, so he now was powerless against him. Jesus could go on and complete his mission and the devil was powerless against him. He could ascend into heaven beyond the reach of evil.
The resurrection was a massive defeat for the principalities and powers that carry out the devil’s purposes. God used the resurrection to destroy their power.
He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion (Eph 1:20.21).
The principalities and powers had worked through the Roman empire and the Jewish religious to destroy Jesus. The resurrection turned their best efforts into failure.
The resurrection proved that Jesus is the Messiah foretold by the Jewish prophets. David had prophesied that body of the Messiah would decay or be buried in a tomb.
Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay (Acts 2:31).
The world has had many would-be messiahs. Jesus is the only one who has risen from the dead. The resurrection confirmed that he is the saviour of the world.
The resurrection was writing on the wall for human political powers. The resurrection proved that Jesus was Lord of all the earth.
God has made this Jesus both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:26).
If Jesus is Lord, the Caesar is not. If Jesus is Lord, Obama is not. When Jesus was raised from the dead, God established him as the true king of earth. Human empires and powers that do not surrender to him will be swept eventually be swept away.
The resurrection enthroned Jesus as King of Kings. All human principalities and powers will eventually have to surrender their authority to him. That should really have happened sooner.
When Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection, he made this declaration.
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me (Matt 28:18).
This was after the resurrection, but before the ascension. All authority in heaven and earth had been given to Jesus. This was the consequence of the resurrection. Jesus had promised that the Kingdom of God was close. He had called for people to get ready for its coming. The resurrection marked the coming of the Kingdom of God, because the reward for his life and death struggle with the devil was authority over all the earth. The resurrection enthroned Jesus as King of Kings and brought in the Kingdom of God
The resurrection made it possible for Jesus to ascend into heaven and sit down at the right hand of God. His ascension was the final working out of his resurrection in fulfilment of (Daniel 7:13-14).
In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
The dominion that had been given to Adam and Eve, but was lost by them was restored to Jesus. Because he is at the right hand of the father, it can never be taken away, so his kingdom can never be destroyed. The kingdom established on the day of the resurrection can never pass away.
Jesus resurrection was the most momentous event that has ever occurred on earth. Prior to the resurrection, the devil, the principalities and powers had real authority that gave them a free hand on earth. The resurrection destroyed their powers. They have continued to hang round on earth getting up to mischief, but their status has changed. The principalities and power are now imposters and trespassers in Jesus world, waiting nervously for Jesus disciples to take up their authority to expose them.
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord (Eph 3:10,11).
This is an amazing statement. God’s eternal purpose is that the church will expose the defeat off the rulers and powers in heavenly realms that was accomplished through Jesus resurrection. We must understand the significance of this. The resurrection makes victory over the principalities and powers possible for the church. This was a huge change. The balance of power on earth was tilted dramatically in favour of God’s people.
The resurrection was a huge setback for the powers of evil. They should have been would be totally crushed, if they had not deceived Christians into unbelief about the victory of the resurrection.
Despite the victory of the resurrection, most Christians believe that things on earth will get worse and worse. Many Christians expect the power and influence of evil to grow and spread in an unprecedented way. Those who hold this view are ignoring the impact of the resurrection. They are implicitly assuming that they live in a world that is just the same as it was in Old Testament times. This is a serious mistake. The resurrection was a huge defeat for the powers of evil that should change the way we live.
Political Power Futile
The power of political empires is sustained by the spiritual principalities and powers that work behind them. The defeat of these spiritual powers should have led to the disappearance of the political empires that dominated the ancient world. Daniel understood this because the angel had explained the implication of the rising of the Son of Man.
Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him (Dan 7:27).
The resurrection of Jesus made him King of Kings. This undermined the status and power of kings and rules everywhere. The resurrection is a sign that human political powers will eventually fade away.
We live in a compassionate age, when people really care about the suffering in the world. Most people want to see poverty eliminated. They want the handicapped to be helped. People want the suffering of animals to be ended.
This compassion and caring is good. Unfortunately this caring is mostly channelled into the power of the state. People are concerned about unnecessary suffering, but most just assume that if governments are given enough money they can remove suffering from the world.
This confidence in the power of the state is unfounded. Governments can make some improvements, but they can never provide a total solution to the problems of the world. The resurrection demonstrated the failure of state power and signalled the victory of the Kingdom of God. Those who are concerned about the problems of the world should focus their hope on the Kingdom of God.
Power of the Spirit
The resurrection empowered Jesus to ascend into heaven and pour out the Holy Spirit on his people on earth.
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear (Acts 2:33-33).
If Jesus had not been raised, the Spirit would not have been out poured on earth to perfect the church
The coming of the Holy Sprit changes everything. In Old Testament times, the activity of the Holy Spirit was intermittent. He move through a few people and was not active. Following the resurrection of Jesus, he is active in every believer who keeps righteousness and holiness in a much deeper way.
The full implication of the coming of the Spirit is hard to grasp. The church often lives as if the Holy Spirit is still only sporadically active on earth, much like in pre-resurrection times.
Paul prayed that the Ephesians would have the eyes of their hearts enlightened to understand what it meant.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead (Eph 1:18-20).
The resurrection was accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit. Those who have received the Holy Spirit have the same power working in them as the power that raised Jesus from the dead. That changes everything.
Kingdom of God Inauguration
Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth, as it is in heaven. The resurrection marked the inauguration of this Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not something that he will Return to establish at the end age. That Kingdom was inaugurated when he was raised from the dead.
The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet” (Psalm 110:1).
Jesus would sit at the right hand of God until the Holy Spirit and the church has defeated all his enemies. He will then Return to receive the completed Kingdom and hand it over to the Father.
Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet (1 Cor 15:24-25).
The resurrection was the great turning point in history. It marked the inauguration of the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Gifting of the Church,
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead marked a massive defeat over the death and he was able to descend down to the deeper parts of the earth in hades to get the gifts of the Church from the devil in order to perfect the church and he did all that the gifts would be edified for his glory and transforming the church but many Christians have not realized the gifts in their lives yet it has been achieved through death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
one God and Father of all,
who is above all, through all, and in all.
Now to each one of us grace has been given proportionate to the measure of the Messiah’sa gift. That is why God says,
“When he went up to the highest place,
he led captives into captivity and gave gifts to people.”
9Now what does this “he went up” mean except that he also had goned down into the lower parts of the earth? The one who went down is the same one who went up above all the heavens so that all things would be fulfilled. And it is he who gifted some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, and still others to be pastors and teachers to equipf the saints, to do the work of ministry, and to build up the body of the Messiah until all of us are united in the faith and in the full knowledge of God’s Son, and until we attain mature adulthood and the full standard of development in the Messiah Then we will no longer be little children, tossed like waves and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people’s trickery, or by clever strategies that would lead us astray. Instead, by speaking the truth in love, we will grow up completely and become one with the head, that is, one with the Messiah in whom the whole body is united and held together by every ligament with which it is supplied. As each individual part does its job, the body builds itself up in love. Ephesians4:5-15.
So then the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead brought many benefits to those who believe in him and gifting is part of the victory for the church must realize meaning all these gifts must be manifesting in the church to perfect the church and every Christian has got a different gift and a call from God purposed in Christ and awakened by the Holy Spirit, the out pouring of the Holy Spirit was because of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The true church of God each Christian must contribute to the body of Christ in order to perfect the church of Christ through gifting in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit, and there are varieties of ministries, but the same Lord. 6There are varieties of results, but it is the same God who produces all the results in everyone.
To each person has been given the ability to manifest the Spirit for the common good. To one has been given a message of wisdom by the Spirit; to another the ability to speak with knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit; to another miraculous results; to another prophecy; to another the ability to distinguish between spirits; to another various kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But one and the same Spirit produces all these results and gives what he wants to each person.
For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, form a single body, so it is with the Messiah. For byd one Spirit all of us—Jews and Greeks, slaves and free—were baptized into one body and were all privileged to drink from one Spirit.
For the body does not consist of only one part, but of many. If the foot says, “Since I’m not a hand, I’m not part of the body,” that does not make it any less a part of the body, does it? And if the ear says, “Since I’m not an eye, I’m not part of the body,” that does not make it any less a part of the body, does it? If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole bodye were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But now God has arranged the parts, every one of them, in the body according to his plan. Now if all of it were one part, there wouldn’t be a body, would there? So there are many parts, but one body.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you,” or the head to the feet, “I don’t need you.” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are in fact indispensable, and the parts of the body that we think are less honorable are treated with special honor, and we make our less attractive parts more attractive. However, our attractive parts don’t need this. But God has put the body together and has given special honor to the parts that lack it, so that there might be no disharmony in the body, but that its parts should have the same concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is praised, every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the Messiah’sg body and individual parts of it. God has appointed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then those who perform miracles, those who have gifts of healing, those who help others, administrators, and those who speakh various kinds of languages. Not all are apostles, are they? Not all are prophets, are they? Not all are teachers, are they? Not all perform miracles, do they? Not all have the gift of healing, do they? Not all speak in foreigni languages, do they? Not all interpret, do they? Keep on desiringj the better gifts. And now I will show you the best way of all. 1Corinthians12:4-31.
What brings the victory of the church and its establishment, is the gifting of the Holy Spirit in the church for the growth of the body. And where there’s no gifting in the church, the church has not realized the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ because all the gifts manifested in Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. So Christians should be celebrating the victory of the resurrection of Jesus for the above benefits.
Opening of the Spiritual eyes to see the Spiritual events. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead brought another seeing otherthan the physical seeing, his resurrection brought Spiritual diversity by coming from darkness to light and this opened up the Spiritual realms to see the events that happens and this opening of the eyes is the best seeing because we now started seeing what Satan is planning against Christians and also knowing his schemes. So it exposes the devils weaknesses. When we receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord then our seeing of things should change by not seeing according to the events of the world but seeing by the Spirit eyes and this is empowered by the Holy Spirit after removing the curtain that had hindered our seeing. All this was achieved by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Anyone not seeing in the Spirit has received the wrong Spirit and his end will be destruction because he or she doesn’t know where they are going. The Spiritual view reveals and exposes the devil and exactly who he is and his lies, his agents, his demons, his worshipers, minus the Holy Spirit you can never know what is going on and ignorant of the devil schemes, traps, snares against your life and against the church. Resurrection of Jesus Christ brought all this to our lime light and it gives us power to defeat the enemy.
Reconciliation and reconnection to the Spiritual realms to live and relate with God Almighty. The resurrection of Jesus perfected our relationship between God and man because we were far away from the house of God and we were aliens and strangers in the house of God but through resurrection of Jesus we were reconnected to the Spiritual Kingdom of God and relate with him and build relationship with him as children again through Christ Jesus.
For through him, both of usu have access to the Father by one Spirit. That is why you are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, the Messiahv Jesus himself being the cornerstone.w In union with him the whole building is joined together and rises into a holy sanctuary for the Lord. You, too, are being built in him, along with the others, into a place for God’s Spirit to dwell. Ephesians2:18-22.
By nature we had died and no one had hope to reconcile to God but through Jesus Christ who was raised from the dead by the mystery power of the Holy Spirit you are now connected to the head and through him we have one access to God and we are one in Spirit but this is all the victory of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
All of this comes from God, who has reconciled us to himself through the Messiahk and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, for through the Messiah,l God was reconciling the world to himself by not counting their sins against them. He has committed his message of reconciliation to us. 2Corrinthians5:18-21.
We have received reconciliation through christ Jesus to God by forgiveness of our sins. This is because resurrection was perfected minus resurrection from your Spiritual death you are not rencociled to God but only awaiting the wrath of God.
In conclusion there are many things and benefits that we must celebrate about resurrection of Jesus Christ and every christian must understand this not by going to the bar and drinking of beer at the celebrations of Jesus resurrection from the dead and this success was achieved long a time ago not today nor at the celebrations day. And each Christian must understand all this. Those who are still blinded and not connected to the Godhead please repent and believe in Jesus then find the right church or the Holy Spirit church in power not in words but in also demonstration of his manifestation to save your life from death. Arise from your death.
I remain Asher Namanya the Bondservant of the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father.
Peace to you all the elect of God through Christ the praise and glory of God in the present and coming age.
