This subject of the kingdom of God is very wide in that it has so many parts but today I will explain the distinct between and the church and the Kingdom of God and the tools for the kingdom of God because most people or Christians have not understood this area. But I do not blame them due to many false teachers many have been led astray so Christians have not understood the Kingdom of God and the Church itself and also the Born Agains themselves who are preaching still are preaching a miss because they don’t preach repentance that brings people to be Born again into the Kingdom, this is because most Christians have wrongly been taught in bible colleges and with false doctrines which has constrained the power of the Holy Spirit. Most Christians are not using the revelations of the Holy Spirit and do not accept to be taught by the Holy Spirit. Had they been taught by the Holy Spirit and be guided by the Spirit of God they would be bringing the kingdom of God come as Jesus Christ taught us to always pray for the kingdom of God to come not the church.

Having misunderstood this principle most Christians, false pastors, false teachers are busy building mansions of churches for businesses and they are establishing their own empires not the kingdom of God, they are making huge buildings of the church and they are being famous for making huge buildings because they are targeting money and making it church businesses other than establishing the Kingdom of God. Most Christians think that having a big congregation is the same as having a church and therefore you are establishing the kingdom of God.

However, the setting of the huge church building is not having the Kingdom of God coming. In fact most Christians have not been educated on the coming of the Kingdom of God; they think being many in the congregation therefore the Kingdom of God is being established which is wrong. The reason is that many churches are not building on the power of the Holy Spirit because they are simply Church businesses and hence cannot bring the kingdom of God. And a church is a person who is born of Christ Jesus in Spirit and in such a way that person has the Holy Spirit dwelling in him and therefore becomes the temple of God because the Holy Spirit dwells in him and such a person is born into the Kingdom of God when he has the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. And therefore he has become the temple of God because of the Holy Spirit in him. So a church is also a sphere in the Kingdom of God it’s distinct from the Kingdom of God. You may have a million followers in your church building and they are not part of the Kingdom because they have no Holy Spirit dwelling. Meaning many people have accepted a wrong Jesus Christ because if the church where you go to worship is wrong then the Spirit dwelling in you will be wrong that’s where people have not realised. If people would understand that then they would be saved and they would see the works of Jesus Christ in preparation for his victorious church that is preparing to take. But if you have if you are born of a wrong spirit then you will remain blind to see into the spiritual realms and see what Jesus Christ is preparing. If the teacher is wrong then the student will be wrong that is the principle.

Let’s look at the scripture Jesus Christ said about seeing the kingdom of God.

There was a Man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John3; 1-3.

Now looking at the scripture Jesus Christ was telling us how we needed rebirth and that is being born again in him newly then we would have his spirit and with his Spirit in us we can see the Kingdom of God. So if you are a Born Again and you are not seeing the kingdom of God then there is a big problem and I can assure you that you accepted the wrong Jesus Christ then you need to be confess again and be Born Again in a right way and with right people if not that then you will remain blind and the Kingdom of God will pass you. The Kingdom always has as King and therefore in this case the King is Jesus Christ and if you don’t have a true King then you can’t have the True Kingdom. The King is a person who exercises authority and commands in his kingdom and in any cases if you are not under his authority and doing his will then you cannot be part of the Kingdom. Therefore this tells that the Kingdom is a sphere where the King rules. And a kingdom has many spheres of operation and this case in the kingdom of God we have a Church as part and one of its spheres.

A good example would be if you wanted to annex the Kingdom of Buganda, you would pass through the right people who can reach you where the king of Buganda dwells and once you seize the King of Buganda you would have annexed their Kingdom. So seizing the right King would give you the kingdom where he operated and you would see all the secrets of the kingdom and how it operates and how to build in it. But you can’t go and seize the king of Busoga and then you say you have taken over the kingdom of Buganda no no that would be ridiculous and you would be out of your mind and you would not know what happens in the Kingdom of Buganda. Now that is what happening in Christianity too of this generation people have confessed Christ Jesus and in various places of worship but if you asked them about the works of Jesus Christ in the Spiritual realms they are not even aware and even if you asked them about God speaking to them they will say where did you find him? And do you know the reason friend they took over a different king in another Kingdom and hoped they would be part of the Kingdom of Buganda. Brethren we speak of what we know and what we have seen and you people don’t take our testimonies but you will be disappointed.

And of course I know those who would ask where is the Kingdom of God? And some will ask where is it coming from? People would take the kingdom of God as if it can be observed and people many are taken by the false teachers and false pastors they think dressing well, riding the good cars they think that person is of God and therefore he works for the Kingdom of God. Let me tell you friend do not observe the physical to take your eyes as if they belong to the Kingdom of God. There is an example where Jesus Christ was being bothered by the Pharisees asking about the kingdom of God and this is what he told them.

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say see here or see there!” For indeed the Kingdom of God is within you. Luke17; 19-20. In fact this scriptures if you looked at the story of Lazarus and the Richman you would think the Rich man had the Kingdom of God but it was different instead the Poor Lazarus had the kingdom of God within and he ended up in Abraham’s bosom but the rich Man ended in Hell and therefore he did not have the kingdom. Luke16;19-31

Brethrens don’t look for miracles because Miracles don’t bring the kingdom of God. Don’t observe the kingdom of God with physical sight, you will be deceived. Don’t look at your Pastor driving the chandlers’ and the Hammers and you think they belong to the Kingdom of God. The person you are despising might be the one having the Kingdom of God like the poor Lazarus. So take heed. The Kingdom of God is within you when you have the Spirit of God dwelling in you and you can see the Kingdom works through the Holy Spirit manifestation. Do not look at the huge corporate Church building you are attending and think you have the Kingdom of God. Do not be deceived, God does not dwell in buildings but he dwells in repentant Christians who are born of Christ.

The relationship between the Church and the Kingdom of God is often misunderstood. Christians often speak as if the Kingdom of God was just another name for the church. In fact they are quite different from each other; and the Kingdom of God is much more important. The main thing that Jesus came to do was to establish the Kingdom of God. This is clear from the basic message that he proclaimed:

The time has come. The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news (Mark 1:15).

The gospels tell us that Jesus was constantly teaching about the Kingdom of God. The good news that he proclaimed was the gospel of the Kingdom or the Government of God. The twelve disciples were also sent out to proclaim the same gospel of the Kingdom (Luke 9:1, 2). In contrast, the gospels only mention the word church twice.

The Kingdom of God is a much wider concept than the Church. The Kingdom includes every area of life that is under rule and authority of God. If God rules a home it is part of the Kingdom. Where a business is run on biblical principles, it is also part of the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God includes every human activity that is done according to his will.

God intends his Kingdom to expand into every area of life. This expansion takes place in two different ways. Individual people must be born into the Kingdom. Jesus said,

Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:5).

As people are born again through repentance and have faith in Jesus Christ, they become citizens of the Kingdom. God will deliver them from sickness and the power of the devil. Being born again is the only way that a person can see the kingdom and enter the Kingdom

The Kingdom also expands as Christians bring the different aspects of their lives under the will of God. As a Christian applies the principles of God’s word to those activities where he has authority, they become part of the Kingdom of God. The Government of God expands as Christians extend the rule of God into the areas of life where they have authority.

Authority is an essential aspect of any Kingdom. Within the kingdom of God there are five main spheres of authority (more on these later).

The Government of God becomes a reality when every sphere of authority, is ruled according to the Word of God. This happens when those with authority are Christians, and are submitted to the authority of God. He has delegated authority to various individuals and groups in society. When a sphere of delegated authority is ruled according to his will, it becomes part of the kingdom of God. Where authority is exercised contrary to his will, that sphere of authority is outside the kingdom.

At the same time the interaction between the various spheres of authority must also be governed by the Word of God. It is wrong for one group to take over the authority that belongs to another. For example when the civil government becomes the provider, it is taking authority and responsibility that God has assigned to the family. Each delegated authority must only carry out the functions that God has assigned to it.

Everything outside the kingdom of God is part of the kingdom of darkness. It is ruled and controlled by Satan. His kingdom is characterised by disunity and conflict. These are the consequences of human sin. Satan is a liar and destroyer, so it will be full of hatred, bitterness, and destruction of human life. The only way to escape is through faith in Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13-14).

Naturally there will be warfare between the two kingdoms. God’s purpose is to extend his Kingdom throughout the entire world. Satan is trying to expand his kingdom. His task has been made easier as Christians have withdrawn from many spheres of authority. The idea has developed that politics and business are improper activities for Christians. These two very important areas of authority have been handed over to the devil. Even where Christians are involved in politics or business, there has been no serious attempt to apply biblical principles to these activities. This has severely weakened the government of God.

Instead of seeking to establish the Kingdom of God, Christians have concentrated on building the church. The church has become a place of retreat from the world. It may have supported Christians in their daily lives, but to the world it appears weak and irrelevant. Rather than being a place of retreat, the church should be a recruiting station and training ground for the kingdom of God.

It must recruit members for the kingdom by proclaiming the gospel. At the same time it must send Christians out into the world to establish the Kingdom of God. Christians should move into every area of authority, and take up responsibility. The Church should teach these Christians to exercise that authority in accordance with the Word of God.

Jesus talked about the Kingdom of God incessantly (Mark 1:14,15, Luke 4:23, John 3:3). He only mentioned the church twice. Jesus preached the Good News of the Kingdom. The modern church tends to preach the gospel of the personal salvation or the gospel of the church. The Gospel of the Kingdom is rarely heard. The gospel of the Government of God is never heard.

The reason is that most Christians think the Kingdom of God and the church are identical. The Kingdom of God is just used as another name for the church. This is not correct. The Kingdom is a much broader concept than the church. Therefore the Gospel of the Kingdom is much broader than the gospel of personal salvation. If we are to obey Jesus and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, we must recover a vision of the Kingdom of God.

The Church is just one sphere of authority within the kingdom of God. For too long it has been seen as the only one. The Church must never be an end in itself. It must always be working to establish the kingdom of God. When Jesus comes back he does not just want to find a holy Church. He is coming back for a victorious Church, a Church that has established the kingdom of God as a reality in the world.

How does the Kingdom of God come? This is an important question. Our answer to this question will shape our attitude to the world and to the future.

God has given his peoples the tools they need to establish the Kingdom of God.

The Government of God comes by the following means:

  1. Christians

The saints of God establish the Kingdom of God for Jesus. In Daniel 7:27, the Beast is destroyed, and the Kingdom comes to fullness when the saints begin to exercise their authority.

Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.

When the saints exercise the authority that Jesus has given to them, they will establish his Government on the earth. All rulers will come to obey his word, and to worship his name. It is the saints, and not Jesus, who will establish the Kingdom. Psalm 149 teaches that it is the “glory of the saints” to establish the Kingdom. They are to bring down the deceptions of the strongholds of error and establish the truth in the world. They are to teach those with authority to live in obedience to Christ. It is a sin to be waiting for Jesus to do something that he has commanded the church to do.

If Christians realised that they are the first tools to establish the kingdom of God then it would bring victory on earth because God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit always want the vessel to use but Christians are not always ready instead they are engaged and caught up in the evil events of the world which makes establishment of the Kingdom of God very difficult and they don’t want to change for the betterment for the expansion of the kingdom. But God has a person born of Christ as a part of the Kingdom and he expects to be born again into the kingdom and bring its establishment into all areas of our lives where we have authority. Another limitation is that Christians expect Jesus Christ to come and the establish the Kingdom of God which is wrong assumption, because Jesus Christ already the foundation for the kingdom of God and the Church as well, so he expects us to take responsibility and take up areas of Authority and make them part of Kingdom of God by making them rule according to the word of God. And thus this will be bring the Victory but most Christians are focusing on other things and have forgotten about this responsibility because God will not use goats or cows to establish the Kingdom but he wants to use people to establish the Kingdom and reign on every part of the world, economic, political and other aspects of life but this will need people to stand with God and use the power of the Holy Spirit to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

  1. The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is vital for the coming of the Kingdom. Christians will need to use the power of the Holy Spirit and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to establish the Kingdom of God. So listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit will be very key to start doing this. Without the power of the Holy Spirit nothing can be done. The problem why Christians are not getting victory is that they working on their own without being accompanied by the Power and the authority of the Holy Spirit, so they end up going to wrong places in proclaiming the gospel. The Holy Spirit always knows the Areas needed to establish the Kingdom of God and expand the kingdom of God. Because as people be born again in Christ Jesus the kingdom of God is established and expanded because God would use those who have come into the Kingdom to teach the same to others. But most Born Again Christians today are not using the power and directions of the Holy Spirit because they don’t know how he operates and this has constrained the work of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ to be accepted because we send our selves to wrong places where people are not ready for the gospel of Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ so we waste our efforts and we end up being disappointed because people did not accept our gospel or even accepting to be Born Again. the reason for this people are being sent out by Pastors not the Holy Spirit and this hindered the work of God to be done because people don’t ask God or Jesus Christ where to preach the gospel and he would show them where people would be ready for his gospel. Let’s look at the example of Silas and Paul in Acts and see how they were sent and how they were guided by the Holy Spirit

Here is the scripture;

Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia; But the Spirit did not permit them. So passing Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying.” Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Now after he had seen vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord called us to preach the gospel to them. And on a Sabbath day we went out to the City to the river side, where prayer was customarily made; and sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city and Thyatira who worshipped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying if you judged me to be Faithful to the Lord, come to my House and stay so she persuaded them.

Now this is where most Christians have messed especially in preaching the gospel, they send themselves and they end up being abused even being beaten simply because they went to a wrong place where people are rebellious against God. Taking example and Silas in the scripture, Paul and Silas had wanted to go to Asia but the Holy Spirit forbid them because the people there were not yet ready for the gospel and after also they wanted to preach to Bithynia but the Spirit of God did not because God had not prepared their hearts for the gospel of Jesus Christ and therefore he did not permit them either to preach there, so the Holy Spirit had prepared the city of Macedonia because he had particular people he had wanted because they were worshiping but they had not been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and therefore Paul had got a vision of a Man in Macedonia begging him to come over and help them. This meant Jesus Christ had prepared the hearts of the people in Macedonia to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ and in this case the family of Lydia was amongst them, and this made the work of the apostles Paul and the Silas easy because they were guided by the Holy Spirit. And Paul listened to the voice of the Holy Spirit and obeyed the command of Jesus Christ to go to Macedonia where he had prepared his people to receive his gospel. Now to this generation of Born Christians if they could take the example of Paul and Silas in Acts chapter16 by listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit where he wants to send them they would bring more people to the Kingdom of God and thus expanding it. But Born Again Christians of today are not use the power of the Holy Spirit and therefore they are not guided by the Holy Spirit, they are struggling to work out things, just shouting in Areas where God has not sent them. And therefore we have become the blockers for the kingdom of God to come because people want to go want to go to areas where they are best known and hence they end up being disappointed. So people should first seek and understand where the Holy Spirit needs them because he would have prepared the hearts of the people in those areas to receive Jesus Christ. Therefore listening the voice of the Holy Spirit is very fundamental in expanding and establishing the kingdom of God.

Prayer also releases power, and God’s power comes in the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is the Spirit of God, so there is no limit to his power. There is no limit to what the church can do, when it moves in the Spirit’s power.

The coming of the kingdom will be a work of the Spirit. He will inspire the church to pray. He will inspire the proclamation of the gospel. It is the Spirit who convicts sinners and brings them to repentance and faith. He is the teacher who teaches people the meaning of the Word of God, and how it should be applied in daily life. It is the divine power of the Holy Spirit which makes it possible for the church to be victorious in the world. Greater is he who is in the church, than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Holy Spirit will bring the Church to victory and establish the Kingdom.

God has promised that after the conversion of the Jews, he will pour out his Holy Spirit in a powerful way, so that the Kingdom may be established (Joel 2:28, 29,32). Up until that time, the Holy Spirit is constrained. We have not yet seen the best that He can do. After the calling of the Jews, the Holy Spirit will go forth in a new way that will make the Book of Acts look tame. He will move in a mighty way to defeat the world and establish the Kingdom.

  1. The Gospel

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the principal means by which the Kingdom of God will be established. Jesus said that no man can enter the Kingdom unless he is born again of the Spirit (John 3:3). Sin is the only obstacle to the kingdom of God. The only solution to sin is the rebirth which comes through repentance and faith in Jesus. This allows the Holy Spirit to dwell in a person, so that he can live in obedience to Jesus.

Nothing can be done to build the Kingdom without the preaching of the gospel. Unregenerate men have no place in God’s Kingdom. So the first step to bringing in the Kingdom is to preach the gospel to all nations. And this is what Jesus has commanded the church to do. If the church is faithful to this command, it will be successful. The gospel is the power of God for salvation (Rom 1:16). All his power is behind the gospel, so where it is proclaimed in the power of the Spirit, it will be effective. The time will come when the majority of the people in the world will have heard the gospel, and come to faith in Jesus. As they choose him as their Lord, each one will become part of the Kingdom.

  1. The Word of God

The proclamation of the Word of God is also essential for the coming of the Kingdom. It is not enough for each person to be born into the Kingdom. Each believer must bring the areas of life where he has authority under the lordship of Christ. The church must teach Christians to exercise their authority in accordance with biblical principles.

Political rulers will have to be taught to exercise their authority in a biblical way. They will have to implement laws that are based on the law of God.

Judges and lawyers will need to learn how to administer the law, in a way that is pleasing to God. Businessmen will need teaching on biblical business principles. Educators will have to develop a Christian system of education. Parents must be taught to run their families along biblical patterns. More than just a change in individual lives is needed. The whole political, social, economic and cultural life of mankind will have to be brought into line with the Word of God. Only then, will Jesus be Lord of all creation. The church has the responsibility for teaching the world how this can be done.

The church must not become imperialistic. It is wrong for church authorities to try and rule directly over political leaders or businessmen, as has often happened in the past. Church leaders discharge their duty by proclaiming and explaining the Word of God to those who hold authority in the world. This is their sphere of authority.

Political leaders and businessmen are responsible to God for their obedience to the Word. They are not accountable to church leaders. The kingdom develops as individual members exercise their authority, whether as political leaders or individuals, in obedience to God. The church or its leaders should not exercise authority in other spheres of responsibility.

The church must not become an institution controlling every aspect of life. The church is a network of relationships, it is not an institution or hierarchy. The Church cannot make decisions, as their is no decision making body that can decide for the whole church. No one person or group of people has authority over the whole church. This is Jesus role. Likewise, there is no one person (like a pope) who can speak for the church. Therefore, the church cannot, and should not attempt to control business and political leaders. An imperialistic church is as bad as a totalitarian state.

There will be individuals in the church, who speak prophetically to political and business leaders. However, they will speak as individuals and not on behalf of the church. Their authority will not come from their position in the church (they may be recognized as prophets by the church). They will only have authority, if they words are true and anointed by the Holy Spirit. They will not be able to make decisions for the government or businesses. Those with authority in business or the government must test the words of the prophets and only obey them if they are true. They should listen to those who are skilled at hearing from God, but they are not required to obey them blindly. We must all obey God, rather than man. Controlling prophets are as dangerous as an imperialistic church.

Adam was told by God to have dominion over the earth and subdue it. He was to search out the laws of nature, and learn how to use them so that he could become master of the creation. This task could only be done in obedience to God. Mankind can only have a full understanding of creation when it is studied in the light of the Word of God. The Church must apply the Word of God to every area of life and every aspect of creation, so that all things can be brought into submission to Christ. This is what Jesus meant when he told us to teach the nations to obey everything that he had commanded.

The Bible is not a book about personal salvation, it is a manual for our total lives, for law, politics, economics, family, school, church, university, business, and more (Andrew Sandlin)

The Word of God is living and active, and more powerful than a double-edged sword (Heb 4:12). As the church proclaims that word in the power of the Spirit, and applies it to every area of life, it will be effective. The will of God will be done on earth as it is in heaven; his Kingdom will come.

  1. Prayer

Prayer is a powerful weapon in the hands of the church. Jesus said that a prayer of faith can cast a mountain into the sea (Matt 21:21). In the Bible, powerful nations are often symbolised by mountains (Israel is often called Mount Zion.) Jesus’ promise means that even mighty nations can be brought down through prayer. Wicked rulers can have their hearts changed through prayer (1 Tim 2:1,2). Since all things are possible through prayer, and Jesus has given the church authority to ask in his name, there is no limit to what the church can do.

God has told us to pray that his Kingdom will come. Psalm 2:8 says,

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, and the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule them with an iron scepter.

God has promised the church that, if it prays in obedience to him, he will give it authority over all the nations. The church’s inheritance includes the whole earth, so if it is faithful in prayer it will receive the nations and rule over them in Christ’s name. It does not rule as an organisation, but through Christians exercising the authority they hold in obedience to Christ. When that authority is exercised according to the will of God, the Kingdom will have become a reality.

  1. The Law

The Law is also a tool for dominion. Many of the passages in the Old Testament which speak of the Kingdom also emphasize the law (Is 42:4: 51:4; Micah 4:2). In the Kingdom, justice will prevail; but apart from God’s law there can be no true justice.

Christians have tended to drive a wedge between the law and the gospel. This has allowed humanistic justice to prevail, as apart from the law, Christians have no other standard of justice. In fact, Jesus did not set aside the law. He came to fulfill the law, and said that not the least stroke of pen will disappear from the law until everything is accomplished (Matt 5:17,18).

The biblical standard for economics, law and politics is contained in the Old Testament law. As the law goes forth, justice will be established in the earth. Proclaiming and teaching the law is part of the church’s task, as it brings in the Kingdom.

The law must be used with wisdom and at the right time. It is wrong to try and impose Christian law on a society which does not acknowledge Jesus as Lord. When this is done, the church appears to be harsh, legalistic and dominating. The task of the church in a non-Christian society is to preach the gospel, and to speak prophetically, warning of the consequences of sin (The law may provide a basis for a prophetic word to rulers or kings). People must be converted before they are taught to live according to Kingdom principles. Only when the majority of people have become Christians is it possible to establish a legal system based on the Bible. People will then be glad to live according to the will of God.

  1. Godly judges

Good judges implementing God’s law are the ideal government. There will be no need for politicians and parliament, because God will be judge and lawgiver.

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us (Is 33:22).

The coming of the Kingdom does not need some new dispensation of power or authority by God. The church already has at its disposal, all the means which it needs to establish the kingdom. Its resources are sufficient for its duties. They are not defective in any way, and nothing more is needed from God. All the church needs is additional boldness and faithfulness. It has the Word of God. In the gospel it has the means for changing lives throughout the world. The Holy Spirit is present in the church empowering it for its task. Christianity does not need to be changed before the Kingdom can be established. The church can complete this task by using the means that it already has with greater zeal and faithfulness.

The Kingdom has already begun. It was established in heaven on the day of the ascension. It began in part on earth, when the church began to do its work. Even today in certain parts of the world, among certain people, and in certain areas of life, the Word of God is obeyed. That means that the kingdom of God is partially in existence now. The Kingdom will continue in the same form until the judgment day, with Jesus reigning in heaven, and the church exercising his authority on earth, to bring all things into submission to his word. The only difference during the times of the Kingdom will be in the extent and the effectiveness of the God’s authority. The organization of the Kingdom will not be changed; the church will simply increase in its influence and success.

The Bible teaches that the Kingdom will be established gradually (Deut 7:22). The church’s enemy’s will not all be overcome at once. God will leave some opposition to keep it on its toes, but gradually as the church becomes stronger and stronger all opposition will be worn down. It will be just like Joshua taking the land. There will be some major victories which demoralize the opposition, but it will take longer to clear away all opposition. At the time of the calling of the Jews, the church will have a tremendous victory which will totally demoralize the opposition. It will take longer to extend the Kingdom into every aspect of life, in every area of the world. A lot of preaching will have to be done, followed by a lot of teaching. Study will be necessary to determine what the Bible really teaches about law, economics, science, politics, education, medicine, family life, etc. All this work will take time to complete.

The Kingdom will be established through the proclamation of the gospel and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Christians already have the power and the authority that they need to establish the kingdom of God. We do not have to wait for the return of Christ to see it become a reality. Instead we should be going to work in the power of the Spirit, to win the world for Jesus, now.

The church will not be victorious until it gets back to a more positive eschatology.

I remain Asher Namanya the Bondservant of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and peace to you all who have been called to this Grace of God that is Faith in Jesus Christ.
